Director of Production and Culinary Research for E2M kitchen


Andres' love for cooking began while interning for a small bakery in his hometown. This little taste of the industry was all he needed to begin his pursuit of a culinary career. 

Once he received formal training from Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina, he began working and gaining experience

in kitchens from coast to coast. 

With over thirteen years of experience in the food service industry, he looks forward to using his knowledge to bring a healthy spin to some of our favorite dishes. 

Andres first joined the E2M program in 2018 as a community member, which started his love of running. At the end of 2020, Andres transitioned to the E2M staff providing weekly online cooking classes. In 2023, he became Director of Production and Culinary Research for E2M kitchen. Andres has enjoyed teaching countless E2M members how to make simple, healthy, and flavorful food.

When he’s not developing new recipes, Andres spends time earning medals as he conquers new terrain while running in various marathons. He also collects stamps on his passport traveling internationally exploring and immersing himself in new cultures. When stateside he’s passionate about volunteering, helping others and spending time with friends and family.

My Approach

It all begins with an idea, “I want to be healthy.” This is a great start, but what comes next? My mission is to create delicious healthy meals for everyone to savor. Being healthy should not be stressful; it should be fun. Together we can bring enjoyment back to cooking.
